Amen.

Do we love God only when all is well?

"... I came out naked from my mother's womb, and naked I will return to the bosom of the earth: the LORD has given, and the LORD has taken away, the name of the Lord be blessed!" Job1: 21

Job feared God and enjoyed all the riches and blessings of the Lord. A great test of faith was imposed on him by Satan, who took everything from him and took everything away to test it. Even his 10 children all died. But his words concerning Jehovah did not change. Are we like Job? Or do we love God only when all is well?

In all the bad circumstances of our lives, let's take away our evil thoughts and with Psalm 42: 2, let's say to ourselves, "Why
Do you slaughter my soul, and groan within me? Let's always hope in God, let's praise him, let's worship him again because he is our salvation and our God. "
Lord grant us a faith similar to that of your servant Job, a faith capable of relativising everything, a faith capable of detachment. A faith that works and looks more at the creature-creator relationship because we are naked on this earth, naked and alone we leave. May the name of the Lord be blessed in all circumstances on this new day and always. Amen.
